Eleanor, although you may have left us, you are still a shining star in our lives.
 
You will always be my bosom buddy since the first day Tony introduced us – we had both met our soul mates and were even planning a double wedding. Sadly that wasn’t to be and that fatal accident changed the direction of your lives. You came to live with us for a short while after your accident and we all got very close during that time. You then bought a home half a mile away, so for 15 years or so we were neighbours as well.
 
I remember with great fondness the board games we tried to play and you and Trevor always collapsing in laughter when they went wrong. And the musical evenings with friends – again always full of the fun and laughter that you brought.
 
We will continue to revere your wonderful persona, your humour and love for life and regularly light a candle for you to honoour and sustain your memory.
 
You have touched the lives of all those who have been lucky enough to be involved in your life, and your light and star will shine on.
